Provider Bio

While I am new to the field of mental health, I am not new to being in a helping profession.  My career began in healthcare, and I worked many years as a Respiratory Therapist, and then for several years in hospital and clinic leadership.  I enjoyed helping and caring for people and through therapy and education, helped them learn how to help themselves get better.  Moving into the field of mental health seemed like a natural progression.  In pursing my license as a professional counselor, I am still helping people and helping them figure out how to make themselves well, in body, mind and spirit.

My husband, Mike, and I have been married nearly 33 years and together we have 5 adult children, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.  Mike and I both come from big families, so we are blessed to be able to gather together with family frequently.  Mike is retired now, and our hobbies together include kayaking, fishing and motorcycling.  My personal interests include jewelry-making, reading, essential oils, and travel.
