I became a therapist to help other humans think well, feel better, and live a happier life. I take a client-centered approach that is rooted in kindness and compassion. I strive to understand my client’s frame of reference the best I can, by using empathy and warmth with every therapeutic intervention. I am trained in the use of CBT/DBT, play therapy, art therapy, and EMDR. I also utilize psychosomatic approaches and creative methods to help ignite self-expression. I believe concepts like “love, play, and hope” are the foundations of a healthy life.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have two young boys, who are all a source of inspiration and joy for me. We love swimming, hiking, and all things Wisconsin.
