Provider Bio:

I have provided counseling services since 1965 and am constantly in awe of the resiliency of the human spirit.  The counseling relationship is truly unique in that people share their hopes and pain in a trusting environment, often opening wounds that they have never told another person.  I am honored and thrilled at the growth and healing that I have participated in.  Seasoned by experience as a husband, father, employer and mentor I bring a lifetime of personal joys and difficulties to the counseling experience.  I have a passion for good marriages and strong families.

Barb has been my partner in life since we met in college and we have shared both adventures and trials together.  We have three married children who have blessed us with 14 grandchildren.  Living on the farm where the kids were raised, we love having the grandkids around to keep us young.  I enjoy reading with Barb, time at our cabin, playing golf, carpentry, traveling, walking in the woods and sometimes just sitting by the river.  Our faith has guided us on life’s journey and is the compass that we use to set our course.
