About Christine

Isn’t it good to know that there are people willing to walk beside us through dark, difficult times? I will do that. I served over 22 years in the Navy working with chaplains in combat zones four times, beginning with my first deployment immediately after September 11, 2001. I have also assisted domestic violence survivors in their journey to empowerment. As a hospice volunteer and a Certified Nursing Assistant, I’ve spent much time with people who are dying and found that experience to be helpful in living a more meaningful life.

My goal is to establish a meaningful partnership with clients and working together to form achievable goals in a supportive, person-centered environment that reflects the love of Christ. I am a strong believer in maintaining or establishing human dignity and grace where there may be feelings of guilt, shame or deep emotional pain to assist in the healing process.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and find joy in simple things – watching the sunset, listening to the sounds of nature, or the smell of fresh-cut grass or hay. As a longtime motorcyclist, I also engage in “cycletherapy” and look forward to good riding weather and charity rides. I believe in the healing power of a smile, laughter, or a kind word, and I use these tools often.
