Jude Stevenson

I have always wanted to help people. My first career was in healthcare, and I worked as a Respiratory Therapist in hospitals and clinics for many years. In August of 2019, I began a new journey to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. In my new role as counselor, I compare it to going on a journey with my client, with them choosing the direction and me holding the lantern to light up the path. I see it as something we do together. My approach is solution-focused, and I enjoy helping people problem-solve and brainstorm to help them find ways to cope, adjust or adapt to whatever and wherever they are in their life.

My husband, Mike, and I have been married for over 35 years and together we have 5 adult children, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Mike and I both come from big families, so we are blessed to be able to gather with family frequently. Mike is retired now, and our hobbies together include pontoon boating, fishing and motorcycling. My personal interests include jewelry-making, reading, essential oils, and travel.
