About Melissa

I am passionate about people, and I value creating a safe and comforting environment in my work.  I believe the therapist and client relationship begins with developing an authentic connection.  Knowing that people have a need to be heard, I strongly value being a listening ear for my clients.  Feeling called by the Lord to serve in the Wausau area, I am excited to apply a systemic view and lens to the therapy room to offer my clients different approaches and perspectives to consider.

A few activities that I enjoy include playing my guitar, listening to music, playing video games, cooking, baking, and engaging in outdoor activities.  I am also a huge believer that where there is good food, there is a good time!

“It is a true honor and privilege to walk alongside each person during their healing journey. Witnessing growth and self-discovery is one of the most meaningful parts of the therapy process.”
